Bio:

I’m a second-year Electrical Engineering student at King Saud University, where I balance rigorous academics with an intensive training regimen as our team’s primary driver. Growing up in Riyadh, I was inspired by Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 emphasis on technology and innovation, which motivated me to pursue robotics competitively. My technical background in electronics and control systems gives me a unique understanding of our robot’s capabilities and limitations, allowing me to provide valuable input during design reviews. I dedicate 15-20 hours weekly to driver practice, employing simulation tools and video analysis to continuously refine my technique. My performance at the Middle East VEX U Championship helped establish our team as a serious contender on the international stage, and I take pride in representing Saudi Arabia in the global robotics community. I also coordinate closely with our programming team to optimize the human-robot interface, ensuring seamless transitions between autonomous and driver-controlled periods. Beyond competition, I’m involved in organizing robotics workshops for university students across the Kingdom, helping build the next generation of Saudi engineers. My aspiration is to contribute to Saudi Arabia’s growing robotics and automation sector, particularly in applications for smart cities and industrial modernization. I view VEX U as both a platform for personal growth and an opportunity to showcase Saudi talent in technology innovation. #
