Bio:

I’m a junior pursuing Computer Science  with a concentration in Artificial Intelligence and Robotics. My work with our VEX U team focuses on developing sophisticated autonomous routines using reinforcement learning and adaptive control systems. This past summer, I interned at a leading autonomous vehicle company where I worked on perception systems, experience that directly translates to improving our robot’s sensor fusion capabilities. I’ve published a paper on efficient path planning algorithms for resource-constrained embedded systems at an undergraduate research conference. Our team’s codebase, which I architect and maintain, implements advanced features like real-time trajectory optimization, probabilistic sensor modeling, and multi-agent coordination strategies. I’m particularly interested in how techniques from modern AI can be adapted for the real-time constraints of competitive robotics. I also serve as a teaching assistant for our university’s introductory robotics course and lead workshops on embedded programming for younger students. My research goal is to pursue a PhD in Robotics, focusing on decision-making algorithms for autonomous systems in dynamic environments. I believe competitive robotics provides an ideal testbed for advancing practical AI research. #
