The best teams as of now (3/2/26) in the world in VEX V5, by RFORCE:
Team 8682A – Apollo from Convington, Georgia, stands strong in the #1 spot. Having competed in 11 events and winning a whopping 20 awards so far this season, they’ve claimed their rightful spot at the top with a significant 4.4 point gap ahead of the #2 spot, team 4613R – Barker Redbacks from Sydney, Australia, with 4 high-scoring events and 8 awards in total.
Team 2145X – Pink Shimeree Unicorns holds the #4 spot with 18 events and 15 awards. At the #6 spot we have team 12914X – Omegabotz, who currently hold the record for the most events attended in the season at 20, winning 14 awards so far.
Just below we have team 1028A – WASHED, from Nebraska, with 11 events and 24 awards in the season. The only other team with 24 awards in the top 10 as of now in 74074Y – Bamboozled from Oklahoma.

Top 10 V5 Movers:
Congratulations to team 39Y – Yolt, from Flint, Michigan, for earning the highest RFORCE of any team at a single event this past weekend, with 169.64 at their last competition. This amazing performance moves them up a total of 131 ranks, making them now reside at the #25 spot in the global V5 rankings.
Additionally, we also have two TenTon Robotics teams, 1010G and 1010X, from Canada, that have made big moves towards the top of the rankings, each moving up 66 and 36 ranks respectively.
Overall, we can clearly see the effects of teams putting up big performances as the regular season comes to a close, and Worlds approaches.

As we approach the eventual date of the World championship St. Louis, it is still possible for these leaderboards to shift significantly, as many regional and national championships are happening in the coming weeks; events that will certainly have high RFER coefficients, and boost teams in bursts. We will soon see who comes out on top before Worlds…
